Up Next: Dave’s Picks Volume 35: Philadelphia Civic Center, Philadelphia, PA 4/20/84
I believe this is the first Dave’s Picks release to feature 1980s Grateful Dead. 1984 was a good year for the Grateful Dead with Brent Mydland having been in the band for 5 years and the jams sounding extraordinary, especially Brown-Eyed Women and Scarlet->Fire.
Release date: July 31, 2020
🎶 Featured Concert:
This concert was made available in 2019 as part of Dave’s Picks. David Lemieux is the audiovisual archivist and legacy manager for the Grateful Dead, who chooses 4 shows a year to re-issue complete with liner notes, photos, and more. This was a limited 3 CD release from Rhino / Grateful Dead Records that is currently out of print, but can be streamed via archives.org.
