Hello, I’m Jason. I’m a Portsmouth, NH-based social media and digital content strategist currently working at The University of New Hampshire as director of social media with a sustained passion for digital marketing and creative content. I have a successful record of mobilizing diverse stakeholders to produce strategic and engaging social media content that drives traffic, increases engagement and generates leads. I absolutely love working in the Higher Education and non-profit space, so I started a blog called HESM Community.
It’s been a while due to COVID, but I’ve participated as a speaker and panelist at many higher education & social media conferences around the United States, including CASE, eduWeb, AMA, and Social Media Strategies Summit.
In addition, I’m also president and current board chair of WSCA, a non-profit, freeform radio station in Portsmouth, New Hampshire where I help manage operations and assist with fundraising, marketing, and public relations. I also host a weekly freeform radio program.
Any extra free time is taken up by listening to too many records, curating my record shop, watching Liverpool Football, kayaking, hiking, trips to Montréal, and taking orders from my cats.
