I’m a Portsmouth, New Hampshire based social media and digital content strategist currently working at The University of New Hampshire as communications director of social media with a sustained passion for digital marketing. I have a successful record of mobilizing diverse stakeholders to produce strategic & engaging social media content that drives traffic, increases engagement, and generates leads. I have developed effective and consistent social media strategies for the UNH brand, students, and alumni audiences. I absolutely love working in the Higher Education and non-profit space.
Due to the pandemic, it’s been awhile since I’ve participated in-person as a speaker or panelist at some the most popular higher education & social media conferences in the United States (CASE, AMA, Social Media Strategies Summit) and I can’t wait to return soon.
It’s hard to believe, but I’ve been a disc jockey and host of a radio show since 1994. It began back in college at WUNH 91.3 FM hosting a weekly overnight shift that lasted about six months before being promoted to the daytime, where I hosted a weekly show for three years and acted as the radio station’s music and jazz director from 1996-1997. Fast forward to 2004 where I joined WSCA, a non-profit community radio station in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. I was the station’s first music director and the host of Maelstrom, a new music show that lasted four years. Taking a shirt break from radio, but not music, I went back to WSCA 106.1 FM in 2013 where I’ve hosted a weekly radio show ever since.
I’m also a member of the WSCA Board of Trustees and help manage operations and assist with fundraising, marketing, and public relations.
In my free time I listen to music, curate playlists for Apple Music & Spotify, and create field recordings & sound collages. I also sell records, watch Liverpool Football & Montreal Canadiens hockey, kayak, hike, travel to my favorite cities: Montréal & London, and take orders from Sebastian, my 16 year old cat.
